Dennis M. Prince

Dennis M. Prince was one of the leading personal injury and insurance bad-faith trial lawyers in Nevada, with a national reputation built over three decades of practice. Born and raised in Las Vegas, he graduated from Bonanza High School, earned a finance degree from UNLV, and completed law school at California Western before returning home to build his career and his family.

Admitted to the Nevada bar in 1993, he won trials, appeals, and arbitrations that produced binding case law in Nevada and the Ninth Circuit, and colleagues regarded his courtroom presence as unmatched. He led the Prince Law Group, where he took particular pride in practicing alongside his son Scot, and was an active member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Nevada Justice Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. "Dennis Prince was not only a brilliant attorney, but he was also my former law partner and my friend," Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford said upon his death; Robert Eglet called him "one of the best trial lawyers in the state."

A devoted father of four children and two step-children, he died on April 8, 2024, at age 57, alongside his wife Ashley, in a shooting at his law office. His spirit, as his family wrote, lives on in the countless lives he touched.
