Searches

Search queries are logged to power the “Most searched” feature. The log stores the query text, a result count, and a salted one-way hash of your IP address - never the address itself. Raw search events are deleted after 90 days; only aggregate counts persist.

Accounts

An account stores your email, a hashed password, and your notification preferences. Session cookies are httpOnly and expire after 30 days of inactivity. We do not track you across other sites.

Review verification documents

Documents uploaded to verify a client relationship are stored privately, are never published, and are deleted 90 days after the verification decision.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent personal data. Nevada Law Directory does not sell data, period.
  • Publish personal cell numbers or home addresses.
  • Email people who have not created an account or claimed a profile.

Attorney records

Attorney profiles republish official public records. Privacy questions about those records - including the suppression of residential-looking addresses, which we do by default - are covered in the methodology and corrections pages.
