Sheldon A. Breskow
Sheldon A. Breskow was an attorney whose career spanned private practice and decades of service in the regulation of legal ethics. He began practicing law with the firm of Jacobs and Jacobs, where he worked from 1959 through 1965. He went on to serve as chief deputy attorney general of Indiana under Attorney General Theodore Sendak from 1968 until 1976.
In 1976, Mr. Breskow became head of the disciplinary commission that monitors the ethical conduct of lawyers, serving as the longtime executive secretary of the Indiana Supreme Court's disciplinary commission. His work centered on upholding the standards and integrity of the legal profession.
In August 1991, Mr. Breskow relocated to Las Vegas, where he served as disciplinary commissioner for the State Bar of Nevada. He was 58 years old at the time of his death on April 29, 1992, in Las Vegas.
